He turned and replied, (in a very condescending tone) 'Well, did you turn your light on?' I asked him which light and he pointed, along with a large sigh, to the bell icon outside the door of the room. I asked a young gentleman employee in the hallway if this was usual to not have service before this time. The next day when we returned at 4:30pm to our room it hadn't been made up. I work in a corporate client service department where client service is our #1 priority. When we questioned that he said, 'We haven't been able to fill that position'. Whe we asked to speak with a manager the clerk went a got someone who came out and said they didn't have a manager. They spent 10 minutes trying to determine what that cost would be and then changed their mind to it not be available at any cost.
First we were told there wasn't any.then they said we couldn't change because we had booked through Expedia (we totally understand this) except for additional cost. We requested 2 queen beds instead of a king. When we arrived at the reception desk we were welcomed nicely.however it went downhill from there.
